Thank you for including this in your podcast! I was so taken, yesterday, by the lesson on learning and that the work is never finished, that I journaled about it last night. I thought of an African-American variation on the meme you referred to, that is particularly relevant now, in this moment where learning is under attack. In response to threats against the National Museum of African-American History & Culture, and Instagram poster reminded her followers that the Museum is not the source of our history and memory, but, rather a repository of that history/knowledge that we carry inside us. The poster reminded us that... the work is never finished, but we must continue to do the work for the Greater Good.
